No toddlers were hurt during the making of this video

Julia is slowly transitioning to no naps, hence why I never post anything anymore......I get about 1 minute to myself a day...the minute I put Julia to bed to the minute I fall asleep after that! She has been doing really well on no nap days, no crankiness or anything, just earlier to bed at night!!! But two nights ago the poor girl couldn't even eat dinner without falling asleep. Oops, this should have been a nap day.

Swinging Reesie

Love this little girl and she loves the swing just as much. Apologies for me talking the whole time....

My Little Helper

Julia "helps" me all the time! She is especially helpful at cooking with me and entertaining Reese. Below is Julia making Opa's birthday card and making brownies and cobbler for his party :-). I love the company and she loves her big girl role.

Mixing the cobbler topping

Maybe this is why she helps, to lick the bowl at the end!

Preschool!!

The first day of preschool went so well! I really wasn't worried as Julia does not have many separation issues, but still I was nervous. She had a power breakfast of salad and multi-grain Cheerios. She was begging for a salad, so who am I to say no to a salad at 8am? We were fortunate enough to have Jim come with us for the first day :-). Julia was very proud to show daddy her big girl school. Dropping her off went really well, I didn't cry or anything! Then when I picked her up I was a mess. I saw her proud face and big smile and felt her big hug and got so teary and have been emotional ever since. My little angel, I just can't describe how proud we are of the "big" girl she is becoming.
