Remlinger Farms

Yesterday started out as a simple berry picking trip at Remlinger, 5 hours later I was home. My sister and I met to pick berries and were not going to the actual park at Remlinger, but then ended up going at the last minute. Well, I didn't have an extra diaper (1 only in my bag), much food or a STROLLER. But I thought I would wing it anyway, we were there right? If you know me well, you know that I am prepared in advance for anything, so this was very un-Stefanie like. The no stroller part is what absolutely killed me. I carried Reese (25 pounds now) around in my arms or on my back for 4 hours. I knew it wore me out but not fully until I woke up this morning, ouch. My back was so stiff it took a couple tries to maneuver myself out of bed. But it was so much fun! The kids loved it and that makes it all worth while.

Raspberry picking

Reese had fun too. I would pick a raspberry, add it to the box, pick a raspberry and give one to Reese. Good thing she finally fell asleep and stopped eating or I would have felt really bad about how much I fed her.

All for us to bring home

Julia's friend, Justin, had his 4th birthday party last weekend. As you can guess from the pictures below he had a Western themed party. As luck would have it Ellie had a cowgirl outfit from a couple of Halloween's ago, so Julia got to really dress up! Fun times had by all.

Our Little Jailbird

Julia had her first dance recital Tuesday evening. To say she was excited is a complete understatement. I think all the classes her age had tutu's and cute pink/purple (girly) costumes and Julia's class wore jailbird costumes (danced to Jailhous Rock). But this is totally fitting for Julia as she is our rambunctious, hyper little girl. She didn't even miss the tutu, she LOVED her costume. It was so much fun to see her having such a great time.

Julia's Birthday Part 3

Mom and Julia went to get pedi's on her birthday! She got to sit in the Princess/Butterfly chair! Oh la la...........

Big 4 year old!

Too cute and too sweet. She was the hit at the nail salon

They even gave her juice! Total treat for Julia

Julia's Birthday Part 2

Birthday party at Little Gym on Saturday. Julia loved it there and all the kids had such a great time :-). We had a pizza party at our house with Jim's family after and all the cousins got to run around even more and play! No wonder Julia cried hysterically for 1 hour that night, total over-stimulation and exhaustion..........but totally worth it! Did I mention one of her best buddies, Logan, had his birthday party that morning?! What a day!

Sweet cousins, Solana and Reese (4 days apart in age)
Are this many kids supposed to be on the bar at once?
All that gymnastics works up an appetite

Julia's Birthday Part 1

Our little girl turned 4 yesterday! We had such an amazing weekend celebrating, but an incredibly tiring weekend. Julia was so exhausted by her actual birthday that we pretty much just hung out and vegged. We honestly could not have had more fun this weekend, but boy are we tired! Thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate our little angel!

Present from mom, dad and Nana and Bruce
